Just be sure to move your character about every half hour so you don't time out. You can out-regen all the critters beating on you, so you can take a break whenever you want. Get your guardian to at least level 20, and gear it out in maximum +healing. It takes about 7-8 hours to do them, but you can weapon swap back and forth and finish both in this time. Focus (skill 4) and shield (skill 4) are best done on guardian as well. Guardian: Scepter (skill 1 and 2), staff, torch (skill 5). You can choose to do some of these on guardian, if you prefer. Each one takes about 1 hour, rifle takes about 2 hours. Warrior: Sword, hammer, axe, mace, greatsword, longbow (skill 3 and 4), rifle (single target only, you have to spam tab-1 instead of just 1). Alt-F4 quickly and you'll be able to avoid completing the story. If you happen to trigger the end of the story, a cutscene will begin. Be careful not to cross the line or the spiders may stop spawning. Now you can run back to the red line and smash those spider critters to your heart's content. Aggro some pirates on them, get out of combat, and wait for them to die. Tegwen and Carys will teleport to you after a minute or so. Run back to the pirates where you rescued Tegwen. Now you will be able to kill off the NPCs without worrying about them rezzing and stealing your kills. Race to this line being sure not to cross this set of sea urchins. Then run past the second group of spiders without killing anything. You'll then be tasked with escorting Tegwen and Carys back the way you came. Inside the personal story: Continue the story until you have rescued Tegwen. This will give you the level 19 story "A Vision of Darkness." The only important character choice is "Act with wisdom, but act." Speed through the personal story (using a level 20 experience scroll helps) until you get to the level 16 story "Mirror, Mirror." At the end of this story, talk to Carys and choose to tell Trahearne. Setting up the personal story: You need to use a free character slot to make a sylvari. Pulse and ground effects usually do count. Utilities and condition damage do not count. Only killing blows with a weapon-specific skill count towards the achievements. This is meant to be a step-by-step guide to completing the 19 weapon-specific achievements in the quickest way possible. Overview: This is a guide for hard-core achievement grinders. I wanted to consolidate this information and add what I've learned from my own experience doing this over the last month or so. There have been a few posts here and on the wiki with some good tips for speeding up the grind for 5,000 kills with each weapon.
